If you’re working in your backyard, it’s easy to make a mess: dirt piles everywhere, branches littering the lawn, and old items scattered across the grass. A dumpster can help you clean up quickly and keep your yard clear. Here are 10 common backyard projects that are easier with a dumpster:
1. Landscaping
Every home looks better with fresh flowers, new soil, and freshly trimmed grass, but landscaping can create a lot of waste. From dirt and leaves to old plants, a 10-yard dumpster makes it easy to toss all this yard debris into one spot, so you can focus on making your outdoor space beautiful.
2. Shrub or Plant Removal
Removing old or overgrown plants can be more work than you expect, especially if you’re dealing with invasive species. In the Atlanta area, plants such as Chinese privet, Chinese elm, kudzu, and English ivy grow quickly and take up space. These plants often have deep roots and grow in thick patches. A dumpster makes it easy to transport large piles of plant material after you have uprooted them.
3. Tree Trimming
Trimming trees keeps them healthy, and it keeps your yard looking nice. However, this can result in large branches, leaves, and logs everywhere. The best way to remove tree debris without stuffing dozens of bags or waiting for your trash pickup day would be renting a dumpster.
While Vine Disposal does not allow tree debris in our largest size, 40-yard, we offer other sizes such as 20-yd and 30-yd that can cater to your project. Please call 678-315-2193 if you have any questions and our lovely team will assist you!
4. Environmental Cleanups
Cleaning your neighborhood or helping with a local yard cleanup is a great way to support your community. Dumpsters are perfect for these types of projects. You can dispose of litter, broken branches, and other types of waste quickly, making your neighborhood safer and cleaner for everyone.
5. Spring Cleaning
Backyard spring cleaning isn’t just about removing dead debris from your yard. Maybe you’re trimming the grass edges, clearing out garden beds, getting ready for a backyard party, or removing clutter after a long winter. Renting a dumpster lets you toss everything at once without worrying about if your weekly trash pickup will take it or not.
6. Deck or Fence Removal
Bulky waste like wood, nails, and broken boards is often a byproduct of replacing an old deck or fence. While you can stack the leftover debris in your yard or garage, you can also rent a dumpster to easily dispose of all the materials without the hassle.
7. Patio or Hardscape Renovation
Redoing your patio or adding bricks and paving stones to your yard can make your outdoor space more enjoyable. Projects like these can create heavy waste, such as broken concrete and soil. A dumpster rental will keep your work area safe and organized by allowing you to throw everything into one place.
If you wish to rent a dumpster for concrete, please keep in mind that Vine Disposal allows you to rent a 10-yd or a 12-yd dumpster for clean concrete only. If you have any other debris that ends up in the dumpster, the dumpster will no longer be considered for “Clean Concrete” and instead considered “MSW” or “C&D”, depending on what the other debris in the dumpster is.
Call 678-315-2193 if you have any questions or email us at info@vinedisposal.com, and our team will be happy to walk you through the process.
8. Outdoor Furniture and Shed Cleanout
Repeated exposure to harsh weather can cause outdoor furniture to be unsafe, often due to broken parts or moldy bits. The same goes for rusty tools and old items in your shed. A small 10-yd or 12-yd dumpster can help you get rid of bulky items easily and responsibly.
9. Pool Removal or Repair
Whether you are repairing or removing a pool, there will be broken concrete, metal parts, and pool liners to deal with. To avoid the mess that comes with a large project like a pool renovation, rent a dumpster to hold the waste created and discarded, so that you can focus on making the area as good as new.
10. Storm or Wind Damage Cleanup
Strong winds and storms can leave your yard full of fallen branches, scattered leaves, and broken items. Renting a dumpster gives you the space to toss storm debris quickly and keep your yard safe and tidy.
